She has extensive experience in obstetrics, gynecology, and healthcare leadership, with a focus on clinical integration and health equity. Dr. Thompson has led initiatives at institutions like Mount Sinai Health Network and Mayo Clinic Health System to enhance maternal health outcomes and reduce disparities through innovative strategies and community engagement.
Sheehan Fisher, PhD Dr. Sheehan Fisher is an Associate Professor and perinatal clinical psychologist at Northwestern University. His research focuses on the mental health of fathers and its impact on child development. As the clinical director of the Fathers’ Mental Health Specialty Clinic, Dr. Fisher advocates for integrating fathers into maternal health research to optimize outcomes for both parents and children.
Emmitt Henry of Black Coalition For Safe Motherhood, Inc. Emmitt Henry is a community advocate and former broadcast journalist with a strong commitment to addressing healthcare disparities. As the Communications Director for the Black Coalition for Safe Motherhood, he works to combat racial bias in healthcare and improve maternal health outcomes. Emmitt also serves in leadership roles within veterans' organizations, reflecting his dedication to service and equity.
